This Shipping Policy (“Shipping Policy”) applies to all products sold on the Ekk platform (“Application/Website”), whether directly shipped by sellers or governed by Ekk Marketplace Pvt Ltd’s (“Ekk” or “We” or “Us” or “Ourselves”) default shipping policy. By purchasing products or utilizing services on the Application/Website, You agree to adhere to this Shipping Policy.
1. Seller-Specific Shipping Policies
- Sellers on the Ekk platform are encouraged to upload their specific shipping policies to provide Users (“You” or “Buyer”) with tailored delivery timelines and shipping terms.
- Any seller-specific shipping policy will take precedence over Ekk’s default shipping policy, provided it is displayed prominently on the product or seller profile page.
- In the absence of a seller-specific shipping policy, Ekk’s shipping policy, as outlined below, will be considered sacrosanct.
2. Ekk’s Default Shipping Policy
If a seller does not specify their shipping policy, the following terms apply:
2.1 Minimum Shipping Time
- Ekk ensures that all orders will be shipped within a minimum of 3 business days from the date of order confirmation, unless explicitly stated otherwise for specific products.
2.2 Maximum Shipping Time
- The maximum timeline for shipping and delivery is 15 business days from the date of order confirmation.
2.3 Exceptions
- Force Majeure Events: Delays caused by natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, or other unforeseen circumstances beyond Ekk or the seller’s control.
- Pre-Orders or Custom Products: Products marked as pre-order or custom-made may have extended shipping timelines, which will be explicitly mentioned at the time of purchase.
- Remote Locations: Delivery to remote or inaccessible locations may exceed the maximum timeline. Buyers will be informed of such delays.
3. Shipping Costs
- Shipping charges may vary depending on the product, location, and seller-specific policies.
- The applicable shipping cost, if any, will be displayed at checkout before You complete Your purchase.
4. Tracking Your Order
- Once an order is shipped, You will receive an email or SMS with the tracking details to monitor Your shipment's progress.
- Tracking updates are available through the Application/Website’s “My Orders” section or via the courier partner’s tracking portal.
5. Damaged or Lost Shipments
5.1 Damaged Shipments
- In case of receiving a damaged product, You must report the issue within 48 hours of delivery through the Application/Website’s customer support.
- Please retain the original packaging and include photographs of the damaged product for verification.
5.2 Lost Shipments
- If Your order does not arrive within the maximum timeline, You may contact Ekk’s support team. After an investigation, Ekk will either refund Your payment or reship the product at no additional cost.
6. Non-Deliverable Locations
- Orders will not be shipped to P.O. boxes or restricted delivery zones. If Your shipping address falls under this category, You will be notified during the checkout process.
7. Returns and Refunds
Please refer to Ekk’s Return and Refund Policy for information on returning products and obtaining refunds due to shipping delays, damage, or dissatisfaction.
8. Changes to this Shipping Policy
Ekk reserves the right to modify this Shipping Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on the Application/Website and will be effective immediately. Buyers are encouraged to review this policy periodically.
